Information Step Rabbit uses

The app stores your settings, goals, plans, progress summaries, water entries, and other app activity locally on your device. Step Rabbit does not require you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or other profile information.

Apple Health

Apple Health connections are optional and controlled through Apple’s permission system. Depending on the features you choose, Step Rabbit may request read access to categories such as steps, active energy, walking and running distance, flights climbed, exercise, movement, workouts, walking metrics, heart rate and heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, body or wrist temperature, sleep, body mass, and dietary water.

These permissions are requested in separate, feature-specific groups. You can decline them or change access at any time in iOS Settings.

Health data writes: Step Rabbit writes only dietary-water entries, and only after you enable Apple Health water sync. It does not write steps, workouts, heart data, sleep, weight, or other Health data.

Health information is processed on your device for app features. Step Rabbit does not upload Health data to a backend, use it for advertising, or sell it.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Step Rabbit schedules reminders locally on your device. Notification settings and diagnostics are stored locally. You can turn notifications off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Step Rabbit does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking. It does not use cookies for advertising and does not track you across apps or websites.

Cloud sync and sharing

Step Rabbit does not provide app-account cloud sync and does not send your app data to a Step Rabbit server. Information may still be included in device backups according to your Apple and iOS backup settings, which are controlled by you and Apple.

Data retention and deletion

App information remains on your device until you remove it. You can use Reset Step Rabbit Data in the app’s Settings to delete local settings, cached history, plans, and reminders. Deleting or resetting Step Rabbit does not delete information already stored in Apple Health; manage that data in Apple’s Health app.

Children’s privacy

Step Rabbit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If Step Rabbit’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and its effective date will be revised before the new practices apply.
